the type of membership under the "Membership Categories"
section to begin.
Why You Should Join APICS
When you join APICS, you become a member of the national
Association and a member of a local Chapter. APICS and
the Chapters charge lower rates for members for all testing,
materials, seminars and classes. If you have decided
to pursue either of the certifications, the first thing you
should do is join APICS to get the benefits of professional
membership and to be eligible for the discounts. For
example, the extra cost for non-members for just the five
examinations will pay for a one-year membership in the Association
and the Phoenix Chapter! Additionally, the CPIM/CFPIM
certifications require that you maintain this certification
by achieving 75 points within a five year period. Professional
Membership will earn you 30 of those points. You are
going to invest time and money in this certification process
and you will want to keep it maintained. So, don’t delay
and join today!
As a new member, you can request to have APICS send you the
11th Edition of the APICS Dictionary – a $24.30*
value. You can also request the CD of the International
Conference Proceedings held each October. These are
not sent out automatically. Once you become a member,
call APICS at 800-444-APICS (2742) to order.
What to do now
Join
APICS and the Phoenix Chapter as a Professional Member
for $175.00* per year ($110.00* for the Association and $65.00*
for the Chapter). Be sure to designate the Chapter Code
as “PHOE.”
Update Your APICS Membership Contact Information
with the Phoenix Chapter
Accurate
member information is an important part of the Chapter's ability
to serve its members. Please update your information as changes
occur.
You must have your membership ID number
to complete this process. Please refer to your membership
card, a recent mailing or contact our local office at info@apicsphoenix.org
for your membership ID.
Access APICS's website at: www.apics.org
Click "View/Edit My Info"
This brings you to the "Personal
Information" page where you can update as necessary.
It helps the Chapter to know your current job title.
Click the "Manage Address" bar
at the left. This is where you can change/add a home or work
address and select your mailing destination preference. Please
update your company name even if you don't get mail there.
It helps the Chapter identify where our members work.
