David W (Dave) Johnson is a consultant in the areas of training, development, and system implementation. Previously, he was the Manager, Education and Consulting Services, for Bull Worldwide Information Systems' Manufacturing Solutions organization, where he managed the provision of education, training, and implementation consulting services to exter¬nal and internal manufacturing systems customers and the Bull sales and support personnel. He has made numerous presentations to customer man¬agement, user groups, and professional organizations concerning implementation planning, understanding and managing technological change, leadership, and education and training. He is retired from the US military where, in addition to the “normal” things an officer does for his branch, he spent a large portion of his career involved in education and in major high level operational planning and coordination.

Dave holds a BS in Economics from Colorado State University, an MS in Education Ad¬ministration from Iowa State University, and an MS in Systems Management from the University of Southern California. He has APICS CPIM Certification, is a certificated Arizona Community College instructor, and teaches mate¬rials, quality, and change management courses at GateWay Community College and the University of Phoenix and fundamentals and certification classes for the Phoenix APICS Chapter’s CPIM Program. Dave was, until 1 July 2007, the VP-Administration for the Phoenix APICS Chapter, a position he has held for several years; he is now a Director of Administration for the Chapter and the member of the Southwest District Advisory Council.
