Laura graduated from Arizona State University with a BSE in Industrial Engineering. She is currently employed with Avnet, Inc., and manages materials for 5 major electronic component suppliers, as well as materials and quoting for a new supplier to Avnet. Until recently, Avnet was the largest Fortune 500 company with headquarters in Arizona. She is actively sought out for cross functional teams to develop and support process improvements and company-wide initiatives.

As an intern at Honeywell, Laura was certified as a Six Sigma Green Belt.
Recently, she finished her Six Sigma Black Belt certification through a program at Bourns, one of her suppliers. At ASU, Laura was the President of the student chapter of INFORMS, and tutored for Operations Research and Simulation of Stochastic Systems. She has also been an active member of Society of Women Engineers and regularly speaks at the regional and national conferences. She is excited to start teaching APICS certification review courses.
