Education - Accelerated CPIM Courses
The CPIM
Review Courses are designed to take 3 hours per session. This
means that BSCM takes 30 hours, MPR
takes 24 hours, and the remaining three courses take 27 hours. They are
generally offered twice per week to allow the participant
sufficient time to study the material. Completing them in
24 hours over a short period of time means that the instructor
will have to move quickly over material that can easily be
read while focusing on more difficult concepts such as calculations
and relationships.
Many people
already possess education and experience in operations management
but have not earned their CPIM certification. By adding dedication
to independent study, these people would be ideal candidates
to earn their CPIM quickly by attending accelerated courses.
We have
had a number of inquiries from people with interest in completing
certification review courses in three 8-hour days. The Phoenix
Chapter can meet these needs but will need to get more input
from you before they can be scheduled. Once we get this input
we can organize the courses appropriately to meet the needs
of the market.

and provide the following information.
- Number
of people at your company that are interested
- Location
of your company
- Indicate
preferred days of the week
- Indicate
if you prefer 3 consecutive days, one per week, or some
other preferred schedule.
- Indicate
if you prefer to hold courses within your company and whether
or not you will allow non-employees to attend.
