Mr. Loucks is Professor Emeritus of Business Information Systems at DeVry University in Phoenix, Arizona.  He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Arizona State University and was an Alpha Iota Delta graduate of Arizona State University as Master of Quantitative Systems in Operations Research and Management Science.  He originally joined the staff at DeVry in 1974. Since leaving DeVry, Gordon has been teaching mathematics at the secondary school level.

College courses taught by Gordon included:  Electronics Fundamentals, Electronics Circuit Analysis, Master Planning, Materials Management and Planning, Capacity Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Production Activity Control, Intro. to Management, Economics, Total Quality Management, Operations Strategy, Operating Systems, Operations Management, Applied Project, Computer Operating Systems, Web Page Development, HTML/DHTML, Finance, Introduction to Business Management, Introduction to Operations Management, Business Policies, and E-Commerce.

Gordon holds several certifications, including:  Certified Fellow in Production and Inventory Management (CFPIM), Certified in Integrated Resource Management (CIRM), and Certified Avraham Goldratt Institute (Theory of Constraints) Academic Jonah.  He is an active CPIM Certification Review Course instructor for the APICS Phoenix Chapter, and has served on several Society-level committees such as the APICS Curriculum and Certification Council for the Materials and Capacity Requirements Planning Test Committee.  He has presented various educational topics to APICS and related groups in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and California, and has published several articles, academic papers, and associated presentations at APICS International Conferences.
