Laura has a BSE in Industrial Engineering from Arizona State University, and a Six Sigma Black Belt at Honeywell, in addition to the APICS designations of CPIM and CSCP. She has held positions in quality control and compliance at Honeywell Aerospace, materials management at Avnet Electronic Components, and now works with the materials management teams at Honeywell Aerospace.

Laura is also an active member of the Society of Women Engineers and regularly speaks at the regional and national conferences. At ASU, Laura was the President of the student chapter of INFORMS, and tutored for Operations Research and Simulation of Stochastic Systems.
